I remember calling my brother Johnny on Long Island to sadly tell him that our father died suddenly and unexpectedly in our New Jersey home. I let him know that I tried my best to save him but regrettably it was not meant to be. I was in shock and Johnny comforted me by saying that our dad died where he was so loved and we were all there.

It haunts me that my brother died in the beginning of the Pandemic, surrounded by medical hell. I hope I can try not to let this happen to others in the next Pandemic.
